What we have?
Two of us get more than three thousand dollars per month! That's not bad, guys! :)
One of us gets something around $750 per month. Cool.
Four of us earns up to $500 per month with the help of the dating site.
And Eleven still invest their money with the hope of taking golden shower some day!

Def hard work! We own Colombian Introductions site for men seeking Latin women.
We have been running our site for about 2 years now..We started with vld 2.1 and now on Vld2.5.3.
In summary, we get about two to three memberships per month. We have 3 month at $50, 6 month at $75 and 12 mo for $100.00.Most get the 6 month because we offer additional 7 months free if they do not find match in 6 months.
We still have a lot of work to do regarding SEO and suspect we will get more revenue once we get listed top 10 for specific key words (Latin women, Colombian women). Its all about marketing..marketing..marketing..We have to really push it and get it out there..It is not easy!
We did find some flaws with Vld that contributed to slow revenue stream.
1)Favorites- Members are not notified when added to favorites. We had Vlad update are script to send email notifications. Big help!
2)No Matching-- Members are not notified of new members joining or members that match their criteria.We had Vlad update script to now send men members all new women that regsiter and women get email showing new men that register...Very big help! Now our members return to our site more frequently and are more inclined to purchase membership!

The other approach is to pay for your traffic (i.e. adwords).
I don't think there is any magical pill to get members. It is basically hard work.
