Try to give div#usernav width less than it is now. 400px for example Then add margin: 0px auto;
It is in site.css line 149
 
Play with width to get what you need.

another question
the usernav menu
how can i align it to the middle
right now the images start from the left side with profile,messages, etc
i want all those to be centered in the nav menu
