Ok so Im slowly getting there with my aussie dating site, few more tweaks here and there and I should be ready to promote.
 
I would like to hear your thoughts on a few topics before I start promoting.
 
1.What do you think about showing guests members profiles? Should they be allowed to see full profiles or should it be limited like a teaser how I have it now - http://www.netdatingaustralia.com.au/Wazza/
 
2. How many members to start with before promoting is enough 20, 30, 50?? Of course the more the better but I only have at the moment 7 :(
Im thinking maybe 50 profiles what would you suggest as a good figure?
 
3. I wont be able to have a paid section till I get a large number of members but Im thinking when it is time to go paid how to go about it without pissing to many people off. How did you introduce a paid section to your site?
 
4. Because I cant use adwords anymore(they cancelled my account because of poor quality score) what other ways do you recommend for buying traffic? Im going to use yahoo and facebook ads but would love to know more. I also found another site to buy ad space on at adengage.com
 
5. Would love to hear some does and donts when just starting out.
 
I have many ideas for my site but I really want to do it the right way from the get go.
