Hello fellow vldCrowders. Thought we would send you some highlights from the postings on vldCrowd. We appreciate everyone who parcticipates.

Before I get to the highlights, thought I would ask the following question.

1. Zoli posted a new extension for Events for version 2.5.3 You may want to check it out at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/26/blog/view/218/

2. Ramil showed us the way with a Friend’s Activity Mod for 2.5.3. It seems to work with 2.5.2 as well (read the comments for changes). I have it on my site and working great. 4. Are you a 2.5.5 user and miss passing the gender variable in the member extension? If so, Ramil has a fix for you so you can make your 2.5.5 play the gender game. Check it out at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/1/blog/view/211/

5. madirfan posted a picture extension to use with a slide show. Not sure what version of vldP it works with  or if anyone has used it yet, but if you have used it or have any questions please post a comment at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/22/blog/view/210/

7. idealists outdid himself with this mod. If you are looking for a way pass variables in language calls within your tpl files, this mod is for you. Check it out at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/57/blog/view/204/

8. idealists has done another mod. His words are: “This mod is aimed at preventing member's viewing profiles (when they are logged in) of member's whom have blocked them.” There are no comments on this mod, so not sure if anyone checked it out. 10. Cadillac Status Mod is new or an updated version of the regular status mod. The cadillac version adds more features to the already popular status mod.  I can testify to how good this mod is since my members love it. It not only keeps members coming back, it provides new text on my home page on a daily basis. How often google spider crawls your site is based on how frequently you update your content.
