vldCrowd Newsletter - Jan 01, 2010

In 2009 vldPersonals grew both as a dating script and with additional websites specializing in vldPersonal coding. We saw the launching of vldCrowd in 2009 which gave vldPersonal users another avenue for discussion and feedback. We also saw the talents of Inatmo emerge with vldPeronal templates at http://www.luvpoint.com/. Look for these sites in 2010 to be even more refined to give all vldPersonal users more options, support and goodies to share.

Here are the highlights of vldCrowd since our last Newsletter.

1. Fatlizard came out with an Article mod for vldPersonals. I was given an opportunity to review the mod and did a little write up on vldCrowd. You can check it out at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/8/blog/view/232/

2. I wrote about another great mod from Ramil called the Drop Down Criteria Mod. You can read more about this mod at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/8/blog/view/229/

3. For you bloggers out there, Ramil did a little mod to add Previous and Next Posts to your blogs. Check it out at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/1/blog/view/228/

4. Do you use wordpress? If so, LuvPoint now does templates for Wordpress. You can check out the blog here: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/17/blog/view/225/

5. Fatlizard did a nice writeup on how to replace the default NiceEdit editor with the popular TinyMCE editor. Check it out at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/175/blog/view/223/

6. I needed some help with spam issues and, of course, Ramil came to the rescue. If you want to use Regular Expression coding to filter out emails and URLs from member’s messages, check out this writeup at: http://www.vldcrowd.com/member/8/blog/view/220/

That’s it  for me. There were a lot of posts on vldCrowd asking questions. A better place to ask your questions about vldPersonals is on vldForum. Ramil visits the forum every day and if he can help, he will.

I wish all vldCrowd and vldPersonal members a great 2010.

Cheers
